Physical products vs service or digital products

Learn why it's important to set your products as Physical Products, and how to do that.


It's possible to sell digital products or services on Shopify that don't require shipping, but if you have downloaded our app you probably have physical items that do require shipping.

It's important to make sure your physical items are flagged as physical items so the Australia Post Shipping app recognises they need shipping and is able to display rates for them.

While making or editing a product, make sure to check the option 'This is a physical product'.
